DSP Change history

The Change history tab in DSP Manager records changes to your Amazon DSP orders, line items and creatives, whether they were sent from Vendlen or made in the Amazon DSP console.

Column What it holds
Date (PT) When the change was recorded, in Pacific time
Type Order, Line item or Creative
Name The entity that changed
Order The order it belongs to
Change What changed — see below
From · To The old value and the new one
Source Where the change came from
By Who sent it, for changes sent from Vendlen; the rule, for changes made by DSP Automation

Pick a date range with the date control; “No changes in this date range.” means nothing was recorded in it.

Changes from Vendlen, DSP Automation and the console

Section titled “Changes from Vendlen, DSP Automation and the console”

“Changes sent from Vendlen show who made them. Changes made outside Vendlen (Amazon DSP console) are found at the next sync, so their time is the sync time and the person is unknown.”

Source Means
Vendlen Sent from DSP Manager or the builder. By names the person
Vendlen Automation Sent by a DSP Automation run. By reads Rule: and the rule’s name, or Rule (deleted)
Amazon (outside Vendlen) Found in Amazon DSP at sync. The time is the sync time, and By is empty

So the time on a console change tells you when Vendlen found it, not when it was made.

The Change column names one of: Created, Name, Status, Start, End, Budget cap, Flights, Frequency limit, Goal, Base bid, Max average CPM, Spending limit, Pacing, and Line item — a creative added to or removed from a line item.

Tracked products and targeting. Changes to an order’s tracked products and to a line item’s targeting are not listed, whether they were made in Vendlen or in Amazon DSP.

Some spend cap changes. Spending limit follows a line item’s first budget. When a line item has a lifetime budget and a daily or monthly spend cap, a change to the spend cap may not be listed — including one made by DSP Automation. That rule’s Runs still record it.
