Connect an Amazon DSP advertiser

DSP Manager reads one Amazon DSP advertiser per seller. If the seller already has its own advertiser (a DSP seat), you link it. If it does not, you can ask Vendlen for a seat with Get Amazon DSP access.

Only the seller owner can do this.

  1. Open Settings › Connections and find the Amazon DSP row.
  2. Choose Find DSP advertisers. Vendlen uses the seller’s existing Amazon Ads connection — “no extra sign-in.”
  3. Choose Link beside the advertiser.

The App confirms: “Linked. The first sync pulls about 90 days of DSP data and takes a few minutes.” Then Open DSP Manager.

A team member who is not the seller owner sees “Ask the seller owner to link it in Settings › Connections.” in DSP Manager instead.

The row reads “We couldn’t find an Amazon DSP advertiser for this Amazon Ads connection.” and asks Do you have access to Amazon DSP?

  • Yes, I have DSP access — give this connection access to your DSP advertiser. Sign in to Amazon DSP with a user who can manage the advertiser, give the advertiser access to the Amazon login (email) you used to connect Amazon Ads to Vendlen, then come back and choose Try again.
  • No, not yet — see No advertiser yet below.

A seller links one advertiser, and an advertiser links to one seller. An advertiser already linked elsewhere is shown as Linked to another seller and cannot be chosen.

The row shows Synced with a time, Sync in progress… or Last sync failed.

Sync now queues a DSP-only sync that re-reads about 90 days of DSP data, as the first sync does: “Sync started. New data shows up in a few minutes.” It can be pressed at most once every two minutes; sooner, the App answers “A sync just started. Try again in a couple of minutes.”

How often data refreshes on its own, and why recent days still move, is covered in Read DSP performance.

Unlink asks for confirmation first: “Syncing stops and nothing changes in Amazon DSP. Your DSP data stays in Vendlen.”

After unlinking, the seller stays tied to that advertiser. The row shows when it was unlinked, and you can find and link the same advertiser again to resume syncing. A different advertiser needs a new seller.

A seller with no linked advertiser sees Run Amazon DSP with Vendlen in DSP Manager, with a Get Amazon DSP access button. The same form is offered under Settings › Connections.

The form asks a few quick questions — about a minute — including how much you would like to spend on DSP each month and whether you are OK to prepay your DSP ad budget by bank transfer. It goes to Vendlen; the App says “We’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days.”

Plan ad spend band DSP spend counts toward the ad spend that places your subscription in its pricing band DSP spend does not count toward the band
Unlinking You can unlink it Contact Vendlen: “This DSP seat is managed by Vendlen. Contact us to change it.”

You link it and use DSP Manager on your plan. DSP spend on your own seat counts toward the ad spend that places your subscription in its pricing band. See Pricing for the plans.

Vendlen requires the DSP budget to be topped up before the seat is issued. Spend on the seat is paid from that balance, and its fees are agreed with each seller. Spend on a managed seat does not count toward your plan’s ad spend band.

Under Settings › Connections the managed seat shows:

  • Balance — what is left of your top-ups.
  • Available for new Order budget — how much you can still commit to new Order budget, after fees.
  • The fee rates agreed for your seat.
  • Top up — opens a message to Vendlen asking for bank transfer details, with the amount left for you to fill in.

When you build a new Order, the form shows Max budget you can set — “From your Vendlen DSP wallet, after fees.” A new Order, or a flight budget raised in Edit Order or the Flights action, that the balance cannot cover is refused:

Not enough Amazon DSP balance. You can add up to $… more in Order budget — top up to go higher.
