Missing or delayed data
Work down this list. It is ordered by how often each turns out to be the cause.
1. Is the account still loading its history?
Section titled “1. Is the account still loading its history?”A newly connected seller does not have its history immediately. Advertising data has to be pulled and the catalog synced, and how long that takes depends on the size of the account.
If you connected recently, this is almost certainly the answer. See Your first week.
2. Are both connections healthy?
Section titled “2. Are both connections healthy?”A seller needs two: Amazon Ads for advertising data, and SP-API for products, listings and sales. They fail independently, and each explains different missing data.
| What is missing | Check |
|---|---|
| Campaigns, targets, search terms, spend | Amazon Ads |
| Products, listings, sales, catalog | SP-API |
Read the latest-data date rather than the connected badge. A connection can report connected while nothing new has arrived for days. See Amazon connections.
3. Is the entity inside marketplace scope?
Section titled “3. Is the entity inside marketplace scope?”Vendlen reads the United States marketplace. Campaigns and products in other marketplaces are not missing — they are out of scope. See Marketplace scope.
4. Is it just the recent edge?
Section titled “4. Is it just the recent edge?”The most recent days always look thin, because attribution is still arriving. A day that appears empty this morning may not be by tomorrow.
5. Is a filter hiding it?
Section titled “5. Is a filter hiding it?”Easy to overlook. Hide 0-impression is on by default on the Ads Manager data tables, so an entity with no impressions in the selected range will not be listed even though it exists. Check the date range and any saved filter before concluding something is gone. See Search terms workspace.
6. Did SP-API report errors?
Section titled “6. Did SP-API report errors?”The connection card shows an error count for the last listing sync. A non-zero count means part of the catalog did not come through — which looks exactly like “some products are missing”, because they are.
Specific cases
Section titled “Specific cases”A product is missing from Automated ASINs. Without SP-API, that list shows only ASINs you are actually advertising rather than your whole catalog. See Automated ASINs.
A campaign exists in Amazon but not here. Check marketplace scope first, then the Amazon Ads latest-data date.
Sales appear but advertising does not, or the reverse. That is the signature of one connection working and the other not.
Still missing?
Section titled “Still missing?”If both connections are healthy, the date has moved recently, and something is still absent, get in touch with the entity name, its type, and the date range you expected it in.
