Release notes

Release notes record what changed in the Vendlen App: new capabilities, changes to existing behaviour, and fixes.

How to read them

Each entry is grouped under three headings:

New — capabilities that did not exist before.
Improved — existing behaviour that changed. Read these carefully if you have rules configured, since a change here can change what a rule decides.
Fixed — defects corrected.

Release notes begin with the first entry published on this site. Changes made to the App before that point are not reconstructed here.

Exclude from Automation can hold selected keyword/targeting actions or negative actions for 7, 14 or 30 days, a custom 1–365 days, or indefinitely. Held rows are omitted from Preview’s action list and scheduled runs; Rule Health can identify the exclusion as the reason Automation stopped. Holds do not cover Dayparting, Agent proposals or direct user changes.
Possibly blocked identifies a previously converting keyword or search term whose traffic has dropped abnormally even though the App cannot find an active negative. Search-term detection also requires the term to remain active in another ad group. The signal is rebuilt nightly after a complete data fetch.
The Keywords table now includes Last activity and Last order, with numeric-style date operators and two-condition AND/OR filters.
Rule Health now shows Firing, Stopped by and the optional Days silent column in Preview Changes and the Rules table.

Negation and Unnegation now identify Amazon-style close variants with one normalized key in both directions. Punctuation, diacritics, trailing plural s and common function words no longer make equivalent terms look unrelated.
Negation and Unnegation criteria now evaluate the summed performance of a close-variant family within its campaign and ad group. Each family produces at most one negative, while Preview still lists the individual search terms behind the decision.
The App now rejects Negative Phrase candidates above 4 words and Negative Exact candidates above 10 words before delivery, and records them as permanently skipped.
Preview warns when either a bid change or an enable/pause change targets a keyword covered by an active negative.
Rule Health can report when Amazon repeatedly reversed an applied change, Amazon permanently rejected keyword text, or a user excluded the row from Automation.
